What is it that makes Christians stand out? What is it that makes us 'salt' and 'light'? We talk about salt and light, and how it's what we are, but do we really know how we are salt and light? What is it that really sets us apart before the world? We say the answer is, "Jesus," or "holiness," or "life," but do we really know that? Or are those just the churchainized, politically-correct answers? What is it that makes us a candle in a dark place? When you walk through Springboro High School, you can't often tell a believer from a nonbeliever right off the bat, and I'm no exception. What is it that makes us stand out before all men?

dude,

without sounding trite....it's love. what sets us apart from all is that we are called to love. love God, love our neighbor, love our enemy....um, that just about covers everyone and everything. LOVE is what sets us apart.

good questions...

At Springboro, you have alot of young christians just learning to walk in faith but keep your eyes open and you'll see their fruit Their the ones who sit with the kid at lunch who is by himself, their the ones who get up and pray with the lunch group when all of their other friends are making fun, their the ones who choose to get up at 6:00 on Fri am to go to GRIP, their the ones who give up lunch money Sometimes you don't always see it but its there They are looking at what they can do for others not themselves Christ's love is shining through them
