Here’s an update on my weight loss journey: last week was a big failure. My breakfasts and lunches went according to plan, but I ate out several times this week with both friends and family. Kaela and I went to Pompilio’s (mussels and pasta) and Coldstone Creamery. Jessie and I went to the Claddagh Irish Pub (red-skinned potatoes and fish pie). Over the weekend, I ate Subby’s (tuna sub) and Olive Garden (mussels, scallops, shrimp, and mushrooms over pasta). This week should be better, and the fact that I will not have a plethora of cash to spend will make it even easier. Ha.
This week should be decently easy, but it will also be quite busy. Tomorrow I have to read a 250-page book and write a review. Throughout the week I need to write out a handwritten copy of Romans (I’ve already gotten Romans 1 done). Friday morning, I am jumping in a van with several friends—Jessie, Amanda, Kugler, Klink, etc.—and going to Lake Michigan for a Geology field trip (be back Sunday). It should be a great time.
